Mark your calendars! DUMC is hosting Joy Griffen for our Renewal Services (Fall Revival) from Sunday, September 26th –Tuesday, Sept 28th.

Please be praying for the Lord to accomplish all that He desires in our hearts, our church, and our community during our renewal services.

Women's Retreat

Ladies of DUMC,

The M&M’s (Marys and Marthas among us) and the UMW (United Methodist Women) are excited to announce that Joy Griffin will be with us for our one-day women’s retreat September 25!  If you remember, Joy was our kick-off Global Impact Celebration speaker two years ago when she set our church afire with her incredible personal testimony of her miraculous physical healing!  Joy comes to us from Georgia and is a key figure in the International Leadership Institute, a global Christian organization that changes lives every day by training leaders who serve on the cutting edge of impacting others with the life-transforming power of the Gospel. Joy will be speaking to us on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. 

We will meet all day here at church and will kick off our Saturday at 9:00 AM with a continental breakfast.  We will break for lunch at noon and end the final session at approximately 3 PM.  Both breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to you. 

Be sure to watch for the Women’s Retreat announcement in the Sunday bulletins, and tear off and turn in the reservation sheet so we can determine the amount of food needed for the day.

If we women of DUMC would unite to become the prayer warriors and the Godly women that our Heavenly Father called us to be, we could impact for the good, our families, our church, our community and our world for Jesus.  Are you ready to get serious about your faith?  Are you ready to take up the cross and follow Jesus?  See you on the 25^th!
