Dorcas Circle

Dorcas Circle is aimed for United Methodist Women. If you attend Dayton United Methodist Church, you are a United Methodist Women. Dorcas Circle meets on the second Wednesday of every month, at 1:00pm in the church library. A typical meeting includes a short Bible study and refreshments.

"Our Purpose" -- The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The Dorcas Circle supports the following missions prayerfully and financially: Lucille Raines Home, Salvation Army, Trinity Missions, Lebanon Children's Home, Janet McAtee Children Unlimited, Hanna Food Pantry, Voice of the Martyrs.
